Especially love the music! Music is so important in the movement of life. What would happen if all libraries played music? ...and let's make it a little more upbeat than what is played in book stores :) The music could change depending on what service area you entered--light hearted in the children's area and Jaws' shark music in the suspense shelving. (and yes, we could still offer a quiet space, although I don't really know of a quiet library these days--infomation is just too stimulating to keep us all quiet!
I love the idea of music in libraries, librarianlol! I think, at the very least, there should be various functioning areas in the library with different types of music.
By the way, did you look at the "Waiting for the World to Change" video in a previous post? I really like how that music coordinates with the photographs of vegans.
Librarianlol, you are very creative! Of course, there must be shark music! LOL!
